Eimeo is a coastal suburb in the Mackay Region with a population of 3,285 at the 2021 Census. The suburb covers about 3.4 square kilometres and sits roughly 14 kilometres north of Mackay's CBD.
The headland extends into the Coral Sea, with sandy beaches on both sides. Eimeo Beach lies to the east, while Sunset Bay sits to the west and extends toward neighbouring Bucasia. Eimeo Creek meets the bay near the suburb's western boundary.
One of Eimeo's most recognisable features is heritage-listed Mango Avenue, planted in the 1880s. The avenue leads toward the headland and the long-established Eimeo Pacific Hotel, known locally for its elevated coastal outlook.
