Bucasia is a coastal town and suburb in the Mackay Region, around 14.9 kilometres north of the Mackay CBD. The locality covers approximately 10.5 square kilometres and had a population of 4,915 people at the 2021 Census.
The Coral Sea forms Bucasia's eastern boundary, while Eimeo Creek lies to the south-east. Much of the residential area sits close to the sandy beachfront, with other parts of the locality retaining sugarcane, tropical fruit growing and wetland landscapes.
